I'm trying not to buy too much at the moment as my house is filling up again. I'm thinking about starting to list things on Trade Me (NZ's equivalent of ebay) and get rid of some of the excess as I'm feeling weighed down by it all. I still have so many unpacked boxes under the house of vintage goodies that I can't fit in the house, so why am I buying more? You all understand - don't you? It really is a kind of sickness not being able to pass up vintage goodies, but at least we're not buying new things and feeding the machine! (That's my justification anyway).
Girl Guide badges...(I have quite a stockpile of these now and will start decorating cushions with them soon)
Oh, dear! More poker dice.....I must have about a hundred by now...
vintage Kiwiana scarf...
grey wool blanket (for those Girl Guide cushions)....
coffee cups...
a pretty little lustreware bowl...
a string dispenser...
some pretty little cups...
and more plates for cake stands.
Once again, I've linked up with Her Library Adventures so go over and have a look at what others have found this week.
Lovely finds, especially the blanket and coffee cups.
ReplyDeleteTerrifying string dispenser, though!
those coffee cup graphics (the first cups image)! loving it!

Be still my beating heart! Lusting over that lustreware bowl and those pretty teacups - lovely, lovely finds!

Oh yes, I do understand your dilemma. And still I buy more...
ReplyDeleteThat string dispenser is a little on the creepy side. Love the sweet floral tea cup and the plates for future cake stands. See, you just can't leave cool stuff like this behind!
That's a wicked string dispenser!
ReplyDeleteHaha! The String dispenser is my fave - looks like ectoplasm spewing from her mouth....
ReplyDeleteWow at the string dispenser, agree it's creepy but kind of cool that way. Lol
