In the weekend, my daughter and I went to the  Discovery World Tropical Forest  at the Otago Museum. It was hot, hot, hot! We've been there numerous times before, usually when my mother visits from Wellington. This time they had some HUGE moths (can't remember the name) that were the size of a dinner plate! I met a little girl going down the stairs and pointed one out to her. She said, "That's not real", so I blew on it and it fluttered it's wings giving us both a fright!

Unfortunately, the beautiful blue winged butterflies don't seem to ever settle so I couldn't get a picture - disappointing....

If you're ever visiting Dunedin be sure to check it out.
