This Weeks Finds...

Not a bad haul this week! I particularly like this 4m of metal braid. God only knows what I'd ever use it for?! I have an eclesiastical wall hanging that has this braid along the bottom (if i could just find it I'd show you).

more knitting needles! The container is getting rather full...

love this unopened packet of iron on interlining...

I think I may have this pattern book in a pile somewhere - but one is never enough

a half finished tapestry and a gorgeous silk hankie.

  1. The colour and design on the interlining packet is just brilliant, totally reminds me of why I love vintage so much - lovely find :-)

  3. A successful week of thrifting for you.
Would love to see the container of knitting needles. I think I should start collecting them myself. x

  4. To the 8 inch hoop I tied a string of the jingle bells across before wrapping the frame with long strips of flannel, about two inches wide and as long as possible. I had two 36 inch strips and had about 6 inches to spare. The end of the wrapping can be secured with a bit of hot glue. digitizing service for embroidery
