This Weeks Finds...

Nothing to say.....here it is.....ta da!

Machine Embroidery...

I've been trying out freehand machine emboidery on a larger scale than my patches . I thought it would be so much quicker than doing it by hand, and it was. Unfortunately, it gave me a terrible headache so I don't think I'll be doing it again! I presume it was from leaning over the sewing machine and probably straining my eyes as well.... Anyway, they turned out quite well I think....

This Weeks Finds...

I had lots of time for thrifting this week as my daughter was away in Invercargill staying with her grandparents for the second week of the school holidays! Pity I still had to work - but you can't have everything....

I completely forgot to show you some press I received in March! It was in a local real estate magazine here in Dunedin. Thanks to Whiteroom for the publicity!

New Stockist...

I have a lovely new stockist in Hastings called Coco and Co ! They have the Mary, Tchaikosky and parrot candles; gift tags, magnets and leather patches. The shop is run by two talented ladies, Jess & Jo, who also run sewing workshops at the store.

This Weeks Finds....

It's been school holidays here this week (1 more to go!) so I've been juggling work and childminding which hasn't left much time for the op shops! Next week will be cruisier as our daughter is away at her grandparents for the week. Hopefully, I'll get lots of time for both crafting and op shopping...

Sunny turns 4...

My partners niece, Sunny, turned 4 during the week. We gave her one of the owls I made a while ago and I did a small embroidery for her wall...

This Weeks Finds...

Not a bad haul this week! I particularly like this 4m of metal braid. God only knows what I'd ever use it for?! I have an eclesiastical wall hanging that has this braid along the bottom (if i could just find it I'd show you).
